Hello! I’m Carson, and welcome to my Center for Global Action (CGA) blog! I’m so glad that you have made it here to follow me on this adventure that God has invited me on. Keep up with me through posts here!
My prayer is for you to be encouraged in your faith by my stories and experiences so you can grow deeper with the Lord. To all that have no idea who I am, here’s a little bit about me. I grew up all over the South. When people ask where I am from I always say that is a loaded question. I am orginially from Tennessee, but I have lived in Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Alabama briefly. However, I claim Mississippi as my home state. I have a degree in secondary education with a concentration in English and ESL from Mississippi State University.
Let’s see… I love teaching and working with students/people of all ages. I love college football, specifically in the SEC (Hail State y’all). I surprisingly like washing dishes; it’s relaxing to me. I really enjoy taking care of other people. The love languages that I receive best are words of affirmation, physical touch, and quality time. The love languages that I give best are physical touch, acts of service, and words of affirmation. I get hooked on t.v. shows pretty easily for example: The Mindy Project, New Girl, Dancing with the Stars (I’m not ashamed. I can’t dance at all so I live through others). I love a good cup of coffee and a heart to heart. I’m happiest when I’m with my family or doing some type of outdoor activity like running, camping, hiking, etc.
I’m one of five kids with an older brother (Addison, 28), a twin sister (Taylor, 26) a younger sister (Kennedy, 21), a younger brother (Camden 17), and a sister-in-law (Logan 27). My brothers and sisters are my best friends and biggest supporters along with my crazy, loving parents!

I went on the World Race in September 2015 and returned in July 2016. On the race the Lord revealed so many talents and gifts that I have so at CGA I would like to continue to learn and walk in those gifts. I also want to continue to seek intimacy with the Lord. The Lord is preparing me for so much more in my life for the purpose he created me for.
So let’s keep doing the thing in Gainesville, GA!
