Y’all I just got done with a 2 week Training Camp with the squad I will be leading in August and it was awesome! While at Training Camp I met my squad, I met my co-leaders, I experienced so much love and support from the training team I was a part of, I found out which countries I will be going to, and I got to experience the Lord work in some big ways.
Meet my squad… This is I Squad.
I get the honor of leading these 27 beautiful humans who are running hard after the Lord. I have seen so much transformation in them in just the 10 short days at Training Camp. This is a squad of people who are humble and who deeply desire more of the Lord and what he is going to teach them over the next 11 months.
This is the squad and training team.
Meet my co-leaders… This is Danny and Hope
Hope…loves dogs, specifically her dog named Seven, she sees people that are often forgotten, she is a woman of honor and integrity and she knows how to be nothing but herself.
Danny…can make anyone laugh with his sarcasm and dry humor, he is humble and kind and deeply desires to look more like Jesus every day.
We are all 3 so different yet somehow we compliment each other so well. I am so thankful that I get to journey with these beautiful humans for the next 11 months and beyond. I am excited to learn from them and grow alongside them.
Meet my Training Team…
This is Clay, Ana, Bella, Danny, Hope, Ronny, and Jeremy (not pictured Courtney, Keith and Karen). Each squad at training camp has a team of people that train the squad and love on them for the weeks at camp. These people have bought me coffee, bought me cough drops, supplied endless snacks, prayed over me, encouraged me, let me cry in front of them, and made me feel so loved and supported for the past 2 weeks. I love these humans a lot. Thank you guys. I am truly grateful for everything you did in the last 2 weeks!
Countries I will be going to…
Ukraine
Romania
Bulgaria
Vietnam
Cambodia
Colombia (Month 8 Debrief)
Bolivia (Final Debrief)
I am really excited about going to 6 new countries as I lead this squad and love on the people I get to meet all over Eastern Europe and Asia.
Squad Wars/Baptisms
One the last night of training camp we have something called Squad Wars where we play games and have fun together as a camp… I Squad won Squad Wars!!!
Then we had camp wide baptisms. I got to witness and be a part of several of I Squad people getting baptized.
This was a week of growth and light. As I prayed for this squad a few weeks ago the Lord said they would learn what it means to be sons and daughters this year. They would become sons of light and daughters of the day. They would walk in freedom and step into the light with Jesus.
Something special happens will people make a choice to step into Holy Water and make a public declaration to chose to follow the Lord regardless of how they feel. I am so proud of these people for choosing to step into the light to gain new life.
Thank you to everyone that has followed my journey over the past few years. I am so grateful for the things the Lord allows me to do and the people he entrusts me to lead.
Giving
I am continuing my fundraising journey. I currently have $1,200 to raise for my job with CGA and then $6,500 for Squad Leading.
